Adoption
OAHS is able to accomodate same day adoptions. The adoptions are based on a first-come basis, provided it is a good match for everyone involved. The first step in the adoption process is to complete our adoption questionnaire to ensure we can help find the right fit for you. You can also stop in during open hours to adopt. The Adoption Counselor will also address any concerns and answer any questions that you may have about adding a new pet to your family.

$125 Kittens - $200 Kitten pair
$75 Cats 6 months to 3 years
$25 Cats over 3 years old
Barn cats - name your price
Cat adoption fees include all vaccinations and spay/neuter surgery. Adopters will be provided with medical and background history upon adoption.

$350 Puppies under 6 months
$350 Adult dog under 25lbs.
$250 Adult dog over 25lbs.
$125 Senior dogs (7+)
Dog adoptions fee include all vaccinations and spay/neuter surgery prior to adoption. Adopters will be provided with medical and background history upon adoption.
ADOPTION ASSURANCE PLEDGE
All adoptions through the OAHS are guaranteed. If an animal is not the right fit for you, you may return the pet within 30 days of the adoption date for a 50% refund or have the full adoption fee applied towards your next OAHS adoption.
