ADOPTION: It is important to the Oconto Area Humane Society to find permanent homes for these animals. To find just the right match for both family and pet, we ask that everyone who is interested in adopting a pet be willing to do the following:
LOST & FOUND: Owners who have lost pets are encouraged to visit the Oconto Area Humane Shelter to look for their pets, rather than call, as many animals look the same. If you have recovered your animal, please let us know.
SURRENDERING: We realize that sometimes it is necessary to find a new home for your pet and the decision to do so is often difficult. Be assured that if you do surrender a pet, we will do everything possible to find that pet a new home. We ask that you call and make an appointment to surrender your pet, so we can give you and your pet the time to make a proper assessment in order to find a new home for your pet.
